Geotagging
Not only professional photographers need to know when an where a photo has been taken.
Infos on that are found in the EXIF-meta data of the digital images when the camera
is equiped with a gps receiver.
If you would like to avoid to buy such an expensive camera, you can do with an external GPS-receiver
and a special software. No matter if you use a GPS-Camera or an external GPS-Receiver to get latitude
and longitude of the images. What lacks is the names of the locations. And exactly this is done by
pixafe earth!

pixafe Earth
pixafe Earth synchronizes geodata and location names to images and writes these information
into the metadata of the photos.
The global location names of cities, districts etc. are written into the image metadata automatically.
In some cases individual defined location names are very useful:
Such individual names (lilke "in the Kindergarden", "At millers", ) can be defines very easily.
You just enter a name and radius to a given coordinate. Then alle images that have been taken
in the radius to a coordinate are labeled with this name.
So you have labled a large number of photos by just entering few names. The clue is, that
you define such names once and use it again and again in futire for new images.
For every image you can see the map or sattelite image.
